Leaders who are responsible for providing direction to organisations and the careers of employees.
Individuals who are aspiring to embrace leadership positions,
Individuals who are feeling exhausted, tired and stressed in a leadership role.
Leaders in organizations are vulnerable to the emotional toxins which emerge from the effective functioning of the role as a leader. Holding a leadership position is compared to consuming a teaspoon of poison each day that produces enormous toxins in the body and mind. If the leaders are not prepared to accept, digest and process these toxins, they will, over time, become the victims of the toxins both emotionally, and physically as many psychosomatic disorders would start affecting them.
It is understood the toxins in the mind gets accumulated over time that generates excessive negativity and defence mechanisms.
The workshop is designed for people in leadership roles in detoxifying not only the body but also the mind and emotional state. The workshop design embraces the knowledge and understanding of ancient science like Ayurveda.
Ayurveda describes the Vedic wisdom of how to live a healthy and peaceful life. Together with Yoga, it gives a detailed blueprint for a fulfilled enlightened life achieved through authentic Ayurveda.
The Purpose of the Ayurvedic treatment system is to prevent illness, heal the sick and preserve life. The Basic Principles of Ayurveda treatment is based on the premise that the universe is made up of five elements: air, fire, water, earth, and ether. These elements are represented in humans by three “doshas“, or energies:
Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. When any of the doshas accumulate in the body beyond the desirable limit, the body loses its balance. Every individual has a distinct balance, and our health and well-being are dependent on getting the right balance of the three doshas (Tridoshas). Ayurveda suggests specific lifestyle and nutritional guidelines to help individuals reduce any excess dosha.
A healthy person, as defined in Sushruta Samhita, one of the primary works on Ayurveda, is “one whose doshas are in balance, appetite is good, with all tissues of the body and all natural urges functioning properly, and whose mind, body, and spirit are cheerful”
With the above understanding and context, a detailed and systematic approach is designed not only to detoxify the body but also the mind. During the five day period of detoxification the leaders will go through sessions on various physical exercises, meditation and yoga practices along with the Abhiyanga and other Ayurvedic treatments, which are customized by the renowned expert doctors from Indus Valley Ayurvedic Center and Spa.
